FGF's - I feel a disturbance in the force...
Yeah, and it's gathering over north central Connecticut.
SOUTH PACIFIC. Wow. Even better than the hype. J2 and I LOVED it. Cried like a baby from beginning to end just from the sheer beauty of this production.
<- - - -will only have the cast recording to keep him warm because he can't get to NY until July.
What's up adults? I'm listening to Sophie Milman and cooking vegan alfedo for my dinner at work tonight.
Work is an absolute ghost town. At least I can get some stuff done today!
I'm shocked anyone has to go in today personally. I shouldn't really complain. Christmas Eve and Christmas both fell on days I already have off, so I just randomly get paid for those days. Money is always nice. (Though any I get goes right to my stupid University.)
I'm updating my Netflix queue, anyone seen "Samantha Who?"?
No.
But Soapy, FYI: SOUTH PACIFIC is selling tickets into July. Check out the Lincoln Center website.
(Don't ask me for a link - you're smart enough to find it. )
*squeals*
Have any movie suggestions for me then? There's literally six movies in my queue.
No. I haven't been to the movies in months. The last thing I saw was BURN AFTER READING, which I liked a lot. Very, very funny, and George Clooney is brilliant.
Howdy all. Belated Merry, Merry and an early Happy, Happy.
Back in PA and off to another holiday party -- more food and booze!
Greetings from Northern Central Connecticut.
I have DGG. I will be returning her in a few days.
Unharmed.
(In other news, I am so f**king glad to be OUT of my Aunt's house, it's not even FUNNY. She's "1930's Long Island with a superiority complex". Ugh. At least I know where I get it from now. She & and my father. It's totally genetic.)

If you don't, why I don't know what I oughtta do!
Take care of my daughter.
And I hope South Pacific keeps going for a while. I'd really like to see it next Christmas. It seems to be selling well enough to keep it open.
Deet, thanks for the lovely email.
Greetings, peeps.

Shira and I spent a lovely evening flirting with grumpy coffee baristas, eating junk food, and watching old Disney movies. Yay!
We're in for the big thaw. It's gross out there. Going to Macy's to shop for sheets for my bed. Great sale going on today.
I <3 sales. But you all knew that already!
Wow - 75% off the sheeets and 60% off pants at Old Navy. It was a good shopping day indeed.
The cows wear festive sweaters and bring cocoa. Sighz
We are having a little Hannukah party this afternoon. I still have to wrap the Wii I got my cousin and her kids (Zander has a gift for unwrapping, in an oh so unflattering way, anything wrapped).
I hope they are surprised and enjoy it.
Then, I am having a few people over for a New Year's Eve game night 6-8 of us playing board games and sharing some decent wine.
It is a option for friends who would rather not got to a crazy party and just relax to welcome in the New Year.

DD, I have been partying too much to post!
Back to work tomorrow!
Back from the Hannukah party. My mom should have been a drill sergeant, she is a natural (she keeps on going with what is planned despite crying children, and general disinterest).
My cousin's kids did not know what to make of the Wii - I am hoping they will enjoy it once they get it home and set it up.
I cannot wait for the holidays to be over.

Y, are they home schooled? What kid does not love a Wii??
He is only six and a half - but I got an email that they set it up already and are having a blast playing.
He actually has some developmental issues (especially eye-hand) which is why I thought the Wii would be good for him. Long story short - he is a meth baby that my cousin has adopted, so there are some issues they are working out.
So, all seems well.
Wii should be wonderful for him. Hopefully, it will develop his skills without the pressure of a crowd outside family and friends.
