ywiw, Wiis can be fantastic for developing hand eye coordination. We use them with a lot of kids on the autism spectrum!

And, the benefits for the oldest is one of the main reasons I got it for the family. My cousin has done wonders with him since she got custody (and now legally adopted him). We thought he was mentally retarded or possibly autistic when he first came into our lives, because there was very little personal interaction - ends up, it was just that he was in a horrible, abusive situation, and now it is clear that he has at least normal intelligence. He just needs a little help making up for lost time. His younger brother was also a meth baby, but luckily, my cousin got custody of him right after he was born, before his "mother" could do any further damage to him.

Off to bed for me - many meetings tomorrow.

Y, Wii really is such a step above previous video game platforms. It is used as therapy in some situations and also to help seniors with dexterity, etc.

Back to work today! Arghhhhh. I drove to work to take advantage of the complete lack of traffic.
