No new toys but some very cool kitchen gadgets! And Veuve. How about you?
Ooh, kitchen toys! Very nice, DD.
Oooh, me likey Veuve! My friends who live in Napa Valley sent me a couple of bottles of sparkling (Taittinger /Domaine Carneros)that I am looking forward to tasting! Kitchen gadgets are fun! We just got a new thingamabob from Williams Sonoma that will scrape the kernels off an ear of corn 1-2-3!
Hiya, HEP!
Hey, all!
I just had lunch with the Princess. She's looking FAB, and doing well. We had a wonderful moment in which, with just a couple of words, I completely knocked her perceptions of the world for a loop. Good times.
Hey, Jungle!
Last time we were in the States we enjoyed the playground that is Williams Sonoma. We brought home a thingy that peels and slices mango. Fun!
Deet, you are still the Champ!
HEP - I agree that Williams Sonoma is a fun place to poke around. I'll go ahead and wish a very Happy New Year to you! I know that you will celebrate a little earlier than us here in the States.
Would have loved to see that, deet.
Thanks, Jungle. I hope 2009 is a wonderful year for you.
We did the party thing last year. So, a quiet evening at home for this New Year's Eve sounds very nice.
It's priceless just watching her process information she'd never even thought about, DD.
And it's now happening - they're in the process of switching over to the new website - our new site should be live in just a short while. I'm so excited!
Yay! Can't wait to see it.
A moment to savor, Deet
Thanks, HEP! We're having a low key New Year's Eve, as well. I hosted the dessert / fun and games portion of a progressive Christmas/ Holiday Party recently, so I'm partied out for a little bit. :)
Have a great evening, everyone!
A progressive dinner - a wonderful idea. It is also an idea that I haven't seen for a while. No wonder you are partied out, though. how many were you hosting?
Seriously. You were fascinated by the wheels turning in my head.
Whoo, I'm exhausted. I can't wait 'til after New Year's - the drinking HAS to stop. Wait, nevermind. That would just be WRONG.
Greetings to the Adults, and hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday week.
Am planning on a quiet New Year's Eve. I have theatre tickets, and then plan to be home for a champagne toast at midnight.
Hope the weekend peeps had fun. Can't wait to hear all about it...
All I know is, there were some police sirens last night. Just saying.

We are going to the burbs for an overnight party on New Year's, then to the club for a fancy party with the Mrs. on New Year's Day.
I skipped Dirty Dancing, I changed my tickets and then could not make it this past weekend. Nobody here had any interest. We are seeing Wicked one last time before it closes.
Having a few friends over for a game night (which most likely will turn into the Zander show). Some nice wine, treats, and Champagne at midnight.
Mellow Adultville all around.

Good evening/Almost morning!
My friend texted me this evening to tell me that Stephen Sondheim and Stockard Channing were both sitting and eating at the restaurant where she works. BAH!
I love the Zander show!
For Shira - a snippet from the Zander show (with Zorra in a supporting role). He is such a gentleman.
