Moony, I love shopping adventures like that!

It was very last minute seeing Shrek - a friend got a couple of comp tickets. It isn't perfect - far from it - but some of the performances are great, and it's just a good, fun romp. Especially if you are aware of some of the inside jokes. (One in particular, had us rolling on the floor.) It's a show that exists on alot of levels - and I wonder what kids really think of it. Although all of the 'adult' stuff probably goes right over their heads.

I didn't get tickets for Pal Joey. I heard early bad reviews, so decided to skip... which is disappointing.

Sleety rain here so far. I'm bummed that I won't be able to see any shows over the holidays. There is just too much going on and I kind of burned through my vacation days, lah!

My boss does want to take me to see Liza for my birthday ... she'll have to give me the day off, gratis. I'm waiting to hear.

I was in a production of Guys and Dolls. The dolls name was Dirk. Probably not the same production that Addy was in.

Mooney, the kids are off because of snow. I left a HSPT review book on the kitchen table with specific page numbers to review! Do you want to bet that no pages will be reviewed?

The roads are horrible. This morning I 1. Slipped down the stairs; 2. Was splashed by a snow plow IN THE FACE. (is salt good for your hair?) and, 3. Entered an L car with the foulest stench ever from a homeless man!

I will be handing out bonus checks which is my favorite task of the year!

I was the lead flute in the pit for Hello Dolly and Dames a sea ... but that is a total misjoinder.

Today is hour holiday work party. I guess only in LA do you do Chinese for the holidays!

They cancelled school here today, and it hasn't even started snowing. Geez. I was looking forward to a whole day alone with Mom. Guess not.
