Mornin'. I was five minutes late, but considering my alarm didn't go off and I jumped out of bed 55 minutes late, I think that was a pretty damn good showing.

No, Girly, no tree We're going to be up in San Francisco and Santa Cruz all through the holidays, though, so we wouldn't even be here to enjoy it.
We are going to help our best friends with their tree-trimming party, though. They insist that we put the lights on these two huge trees they get. Something about our anal-attentive approach . . .
DG..growing up Grandma always had to have a tree up for Christmas..she said it will bring you bad luck if you didn't..the only time it was permissable was if you lost a loved one during that year. So every year she took out her little ceramic Christmas tree. Her and her silly superstitions she took with her from the old country.
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
I've been doing a small table top tree for the past three years since I am never home for the holidays. Last years was a small spruce covered with bird ornaments. It was just right! Of course, I still put out ALL of my Santa's of "different color".
i just buy those pre-decorated ones at the supermarket for $5.99. between this and the lorna (luft not doone) thread, i'm beginning to question my sexuality.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson
Yes, I heard. I don't know the cookie, but maybe you can start a thread when it's birthday comes around.
