I refuse to play into this drama. With so many people that have wandered onto the stage, it should be obvious to even the casual observer what reality is.
I'm perfectly comfortable going about my business in the real world - since that's where my life is, and that's where I exist. What happens in the world here created by those with alterior motives neither interests nor includes me.

I just sent this to someone in a PM, and I think I'll put it here, as well. It sums up where I'm at as well as anything could:
"Honestly, I have so had it with who is who or whatever. I'm just a simple, middle-aged, middle-class queer living in suburbia, who stumbled onto this board by accident and got drawn in. I have since been introduced to some of the most idiotic and insane individuals I have ever encountered. And if that makes me sheltered, then I want to go back under the umbrella.
It's just WAY too much for me to process - I'm too straight-forward and honest to care about these games. And the thought that THIS is what some people choose as their primary reality is just frightening to me - bordering on physically sickening."

That's what I called it a "made-up drama." And even though I also chose to stay out of it, I have been drawn in by people being convinced to stop communicating with me in any manner because I did not take a side - specifically, one particular side.
When you made what you call a joke that was quite out of character for you, and then to say the things you said to me when called on it, gave me grounds to believe you were part of the "pack" that is playing. I apologize if I was wrong.

You need to put a dash in between the colon or semi-colon and the parentheses.

I read this thread in the wee hours of the morning, was going to reply, then changed my mine. I'm changing it again.
I don't know the who, what, where and why's of the above "conversation" between DG and Rath, nor do I really care. What does bother me, is that it seems to have started elsewhere and filtered over to this thread. We've managed for the most part, to not bring "background drama" for want of a better phrase, over here. I'd like to think we're better than that. Maybe I've got blinders on.
This thread seems to have gone off track lately, which I find kind of sad. I'd like to see it restored to its' previous "glory".
Now, since I've procrastinated enough this morning, it's back to decorating for me.
