You know this crew always entertains me..bunch of Gypsy Rose Lee's around here.
Yes - Shamey. Volunteer Fire/Rescue/EMS for 2 1/2 years. I had to quit due to a lot of traveling for my job. I still participate a lot through my old company and my brother's fire company (Dad, grampa, uncles, aunts, brother - all FF or Rescue).
As one of your mentors, Mo, I can tell you that the one thing you DO NOT ask about at a new job is their BWW "policy." In fact, don't mention BWW the entire time you're working anywhere!!!
Wow, very cool! I have great admiration for fire fighters and paramedics. I could never do it. The thought of blood and broken bones makes me want to hurl.
Not good in a crisis!

Edit: Me, not Joaquin, I'm sure he's a stud!
My baby bro is a volunteer fireman in his town of Mountainside..very proud of him..I couldn't do it. I wish I had a 1/4 of his guts and energy.
Mooney, do need a date for John Doe? (You know what I mean!)
That "hate everyone" thread has to go. Now, I have that "Hate Me" song by Blue Monday stuck in my head. Depressing much?

Mp- I wish I had time to go! I wasn't all that jazzed until I read the review this morning. As usual, I will probably wait til it hits NYC - which it has a good chance of doing!
Hmmmm...I can find time to go to New York for a show, but have no time for DC shows. Hmmmmm.....what does this say about me?
I miss it a lot and hope one day to get back involved.
haha, I loved the blood, guts, and bones part! :) I have always found the human body fascinating and well, perfect way to get up close and personal, lol! It does have it's negatives though. Death is no easy to handle no matter how strong you are.
I still get a little pang of worry everytime my brother goes to a big fire call, but that is life.
Moony, isn't it playing through the end of April or something? Surely you can go between now and then. Come on! We'll be ahead of the curve (for once)!
I would run at the sight of blood and guts.
My brother broke his hand and had to have pins put in. He just got them out and came in my office to show me and I couldn't even look. So gross! I ran.
That wasn't nice of him to do sista. I'm bringing my little shovel when I come down there and whacking him in the head for that.
He's always been a bit of a bully, but I think if we both had shovels, we could take him.
Maybe.
He's big.
Remember...the bigger they are..the harder they fall !!! If we have any problems I'm sure mom will come to our rescue...after all, we are her favorites.
Well, you're her favorite anyway.
And, he's always the golden boy. I'm the black sheep!
Well it's a good thing we like sheep here!
Remember..my last name translated into english means..little sheep. BTW sista...how are you with small spaces? Thinking my luggage may hold you.
Lucky for me, Tink!
That's gotta be some big luggage! I'm fine with small spaces though.
It's a big luggage..rolls too...can stuff it with sandwiches and drinks..you'll be fine. Now what do we do about a bathroom? Hmmmm..can you hold it for 18 hours?

Pretty! Reminds me of a CD cover, but I can't think of the band.
Boobs, I can always wear a diaper like that crazy astronaut lady!
