Hey Adults, how is the night going?

Made it back from Edward Scissorhands which I really enjoyed.
The make up date was nothing special. Didn't thank me, wanted a cappuccino before and asked me I wanted one, Then said "are we splitting this?" So i pick the check (she never treat me to anything) and I drop two bucks for the tip."$2?" she says in disbelief.
But the show was magical.
howdy all
had a horrible day at work
I'm sorry it was so bad, Harris. You don't have to go to work tomorrow do you?
I like your Easter Cow! I thought this one was cute too:
Good evening adults. Lovely evening at the basketball game. I always forget how much fun I actually have at them.
And I have a new crush...
basketball is the only sporting game I have never gotten into.

Just so everyone can get the lowdown . . .
DD's crush.
LOL
I just knew you'd pick up on it, DG. I was so sad when they took him out of the game.
But hey, I'm going to another game in a couple of weeks. I'm SO looking forward to that one now, even if it's an office function.

Haha, DD - you're up and about betimes!
You would not believe the weather here this morning. Glorious sunshine when I got up, then black clouds, hailstones, light snow and then brilliant sunshine again. The blossom on the cherry tree at the bottom of the garden isn't much longer at this rate.
Wishing the Adults Happy Sunday - and it's Mothers' Day here today so BIG family lunch. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone. Oh, and nice crush, DD
Morning peeps !!! DG..nice crush.
Pattifan...enjoy your day..hope the weather gets better for the both of us...sun looks like it's trying to break through....I can use it being there is still snow and ice covering my driveway.
Good Morning Adults. I hope everyone is having a great sunday.
Good morning adults! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Stopping by quickly to wish the adults a good Sunday.
Hey there, adults!
Why do I keep missing pattifan?
Rath - how did your night with your first visitor go?
Wait, a visitor? Do tell.
Hey adults. Just a quick "hello". I still consider myself a kid
Oh - it's another one of those extremely tough days.
I found out that my best friend from grade school passed away this morning. She lived about a block from my sister so I usually saw her every time I went to my sister's house. She was always there to help through the good times and bad and we're all going to miss her more than I can say.
I'm suddenly feeling very, very tired.

Oh, Mamie, I'm so very sorry - what a long friendship you were blessed with, though. Best wishes to you and those who knew and loved her.
How's your ankle doing?
Thanks, DG. Yes - Midge and I have known each other for 43 years!
The ankle's really weird. It's still swollen and badly bruised but it really doesn't hurt internally. It hurts like the devil though on the skin! It honestly feels like a really bad burn. I can't stand to have anything touch it. I can walk on it (barefoot) without any problem but I can't stand to even have a soft sock on it. This didn't even happen when I broke it so I don't know what or why this is happening. It's been like this for the last couple of days.

Hmmm - WAY out of my territory. Where's DD when you need him? That does sound rather odd, though.
Sounds like a sprain to me. Not that it makes you feel any better... when I sprained my ankle, the dr told me I would've been better off breaking it, because sprains don't heal as well as ankles. I was 8 when I sprained my ankle, so I was not nearly as careful with it as I would've been had I been older. It still acts up from time to time.
BUT I would say that if that burning sensation continues, you should recheck with the doctor.
Thanks DD.
I found out today that if I put a thick coating of bacitricin ointment on it first, I can then lay a large gauze bandage across it and then put on very loose socks. It hurts like H... at first but then the pain starts easing a bit. I sure wish we had a nurse in the building I work in. It would certainly save a lot of worry if someone who knows could just look at it and tell me that it'll get better soon.
I believe that about a sprain being worse than a break. A break mostly involves the bones and while they can make you pass out if you try to do anything with them, the bones are wonderful at knitting themselves back together again. This sprain involves torn muscle and ligament and they just don't want to heal!
poor mamie
*the cows bring in cocoa* and then curl up on the floor to watch tv
Well, harris, I was just in the same room with Debra and walked the other way from her.
Just so ya know. *dons her I'm Afraid of Debra Monk tee*
