Wow...how did we get from the gutter to Ellis Island today?

Here's another hug, beacon, since you must have had tears in your eyes while reading the last one... But that's ok...There's plenty of me to go around!

Well, Pip. Good thing we have you on the computer then... After all, you know what they say about idle hands and stuff...

beacon: I was once a wonder at American history. But I dropped in favor of European history. I'm still fascinated by all the aspects of it though. Particularly during the Gilded Age between Reconstruction and WWI...

Cookie: You could become my nieces best friend if you like history! She is miserable in it. But then again, she is in 11th grade and doesn't want to be in school at all!

re: Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2)

My dad is a retired history teacher. I love watching historical dramas with him. He's so knowledgeable. When "The Alamo" was coming out last spring (my required Patrick Wilson reference on this thread) he gave me so much background that it made the movie even more enjoyable.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Well, LA, I could do all her homework for her. I think I did about a third of my class' homework for them, as they all cribbed off of my assignments in the 10th grade or so...

Pip: Idle hands are the devil's instruments. Or they'll eventually find something to keep them occupied... Are you raiding the minibar again?

Hi Matt!

I used to teach Social Studies. But, I am no longer as sharp with the facts as I used to be... maybe I should find a History message board. adults please smoke? (Pt.2)" width="14" height="14" src=https://cloudimages.broadwayworld.com/board/happy.gif>
