Hey, I was as smart as him when I was 16. Where were you, then?

Poor Addy... the boys just sweep her into to their play...

*joins LA on the couch to finish her bowl of ice cream (thanks PIP) and watch Addy handle the situation with dignity, grace, and the appropriate horror! :o)

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

The internet was in a very young Al Gore's head when you were 16.

K - I am eternally grateful that the internet did NOT exist when I was 16.

For so many reasons.

I didn't have internet when I was 16, either. I can't even imagine how much different my life would have been if I did have it!

There was no internet when I was 16 or it was VERY new and I didn't have a computer at home yet. Only my best friend had one and it was SO big :)

To go back to the first pages of the Adult thread... I remember libraries. And card cataloges. And the stacks of books.

DG and I had quite the stroll down memory lane one night.

And beacon and I discussed computers vs. the electric typewriter!

Addy, I still use an electric typewriter. I prefer it when I write.
