Camerangel: Come and join us, but don't get too close to me, I am feeling better now, but still not great.
BT - you have said two of my favorite words. Fauchon and Paris.
Well, three, actually. Champagne.
I always drink champagne at a tea party, and have reservations for high tea at the Plaza the weekend I stay there in January.
I had a lovely high tea at the Plaza a few years ago. We did it before we went to Radio City. It was a hoot to drink tea and eat caviar and then go watch women prance on stage dressed as reindeer! When in Paris, though, I love to go to La Madelaine and visit Fauchon and Hediard. Glorious!
Hi there everyone, I have a lull in the chaos here. (yay!)

Hi Mom! I so glad you have a little break, well deserved.
The last time I took my sister and niece to tea at the plaza we got all dressed up in our party dresses, and the string trio played "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" for us. It was delightful.
There is nothing about Paris that is not glorious...in my opinion.
Getting locked in the metro because you don't understand that they are saying the doors are being locks isn't glorious, but it does make for a good Cocktail party story.

Addy: That sounds so nice!
I am going to Paris for my first time in September, and I can't wait! You will have to tell me where I NEED to go. We have friends that live there so that is always nice.
Oh LA, still under the weather? the tea should help you feel better though..
sounds interesting BT
BT - everyone has trouble with those Metro doors!
LA, I will be thrilled to give you some suggestions... Lucky you!
Hi mom and camera (and hopefully I didn't miss anyone...)

mom - take full advantage of your breather!
K is Paris bound January 6th...if I recall, I bought a few extra seats on the plane......
Don't tempt me, K. Don't tempt me...
Being in Paris with you would be too much fun!
I had champagne during high tea at the Savoy in London.
I must say something sacreiligious and sya I prefer tea at the NY Fauchon to the Madeleine Fauchon (though the latter wins hands down with the glorious food emporium)....
Thoughts of Paris always make me feel better, LA...
Hi mom!
**joins in undis thought**
pssssttt, Cookie *whispers* I agree...
Undi, you MUST get a passport! You never know when you are going to be whisked away somewhere fabulous.
we've got an apartment for a week before heading to Cassis -- extra loft area......
For fun..try high tea in Spain...an interesting mix of traditions (Palace Hotel in Madrid)
I wanna go to Paris with K.
K, where is the apartment? Which arrondisement?

Undi: You should always have a passport on hand. I got one when I turned 18 cause I knew that I wanted to eventually travel the world. I didn't get to Ireland until 2 years ago and now I will go back to Ireland for a wedding in September and will also hit Paris to see my friends there and Germany for the concentration camps. I am so glad I had the passport ready to go. Go out and get one!
K: Don't remind me that you are leaving the DAY I get to NY
Addy: I can't wait to talk to you about special places in Paris, but I tink I will wait until closer to the date :)

tee he -- the Pink Boys
I never had troubles with the Metro doors... :)
Tea at the Savory in London was certainly an experience. Try sitting there sipping tea at a beautiful banquette, and then watching a woman in a denim minidress with a zipper halter top sweep by to be seated with BIG HAIR. And then hear her bray with laughter at something...
Paris with K and Addy would be a hoot and a half. Not to mention all the glorious bottles of French wine at disposal...
DG - I love it!
And, K - WHEN is that? It's perfect. And you know my favorite line: Last call is for QUITTERS!
