Addy - that restaurant sounds cool! When we were in Morocco last year we had the most marvelous food. I shall have to take a trip to Paris sometime soon (in my dreams I'm afraid)...

Thanks Cookie, I am trying. I don't have a fever anymore, so that is a plus. I have moved on to drinking a diet coke and water, I needed a tea break :)

Cookie: You are too sweet. Luckily before I started feeling bad last night I made a pit stop at Trader Joes and got a whole bag of lemons so I will for sure be squeezing fresh lemons in everything I drink today, excet for the ass tea of couse :)

I just had the yummiest beef barley and vegetable soup. I forget how nice it is to have lunch at my desk. A fresh baguette and I have some homemade orange and chocolate with white chocolate bits cookies for dessert.

Yummy.. Baguettes. Just thinking of all the baguettes that K will get to have. I love the way Parisianns queue up to buy just a loaf, in addition to all the other baked goodies...

Off of jury duty and the afternoon off!
Mmmmmm...Moroccan food! You may have noticed the tagine in our kitchen, Addy: I make a lamb tagine in it with fennel and dates. You cook it for several hours over a low heat.
It's not exactly Paris, but it tastes good.

Woo Hoo! I just got off the phone with a woman who works for me - and she just gave birth to a baby boy! (I had a baby shower luncheon for her a few weeks ago...)
It's her firstborn. We're all so excited!
