That is sad but true Beav. I have a whole bucnh of those Only In America things, like why do we use the garage to store junk and put the car woth thousands in the driveway? Or Why do we go to McDonalds and order a Quatrer Pounder with cheese, large fries and a DIET coke? Strange I know...

LOL!
I drink Diet Coke only cause I don't like regular soda, not cause of the weight issues.

Cookie: I can not even drink Pepsi at all, it's funny cause people are either Pepsi or Coke fans, never both.
Oh no! Why?
I can switch back and forth between the two. I happn to like Diet Coke with Lime very much. But I prefer regular Diet Pepsi....

My mom's favorite thing is the diet coke with lime. I like it but I love the normal diet coke.

And, LA - you cannot possibly be complaining about this weather - this is why we live here!

Trying to finish up shopping and get all the rest of holiday visiting, parties, concerts and theatre in before we leave for Arizona in a week.
I believe I've done what I can today, so this evening while Robert is in rehearsal I can relax with some cocktails and watch Mary Poppins!
That's what I'm going to do tonight, also, DG.
While I'm finishing up my wrapping.
But, I'm going to be in the office for a while longer...
Beav, I love that movie. Some wonderful songs. My mom always used to sing "Meet me in St. Louis..." to me when she was tucking me into bed. Some of the words made me giggle. I loved it...
"Meet me in St. Louis, Louis,
Meet me at the fair,
Don't tell me the lights are shining
Any place but there,
We will dance the Hoochee Koochee,
I will be your tootsie wootsie;
Meet me in St. Louis, Louis,
Meet me at the fair."
...those were the lines that I loved the most

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year all our troubles will be
out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the yule-tide gay
Next year all our troubles will be
miles away
Once again as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who were dear to us
Will be near to us once more
Someday soon, we all will be together
If the Fates allow
Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
Beav, that sounds like the perfect way to see it!
DG, I love that song, too. I can picture her in that scene... so bittersweet!

Robert does a yearly Christmas concert with Dale Kristien and Bill Hutton. It's special for him because they do one of his songs, which they've let him sing for the last couple of years. Makes me all misty - it's call "It Wouldn't Be Christmas Without You."
Judy doing that number makes me a little more than misty.

Yay, Addy unpacked her bags and is back.
DG: I am not complaining I was just saying that it was so warm for December.
LA, I didn't leave...I just threatened to if the name calling didn't stop.

LA - OK
Beav - Robert did Camelot with her, and then has done these Christmas shows for the past 7 or 8 years or so.
