DG..you're the best !!!
Good morning. How is everyone? God, this thread is grwoing as fast as part one...such a chatty little group you are.
I've been so busy lately running auditions for my show, casting and getting ready to start rehearsals. I haven't directed anything in a while and am now remembering how hard it is to have to turn down talented people, especially when they are people you know and have a friendship with.

Boobs - I wish everything were that easy to accomplish!
Our Santa Ana winds kicked in over night - it sounds like a hurricane outside. At least it's not snowing!

Morning, Orion - nice to 'see' you That is difficult, but if they're experienced, they know how it all works. What show are you doing?
Since ADULTS has been highlighted, what age is considered ADULT?

Morning, Pip and SOMMS - I got the coffee going, Pip, but you can take over from here
Yes, they all realized that being turned down is always a possibility, it always is. It's just especially tough when the actor is a good one but someone is better.
I'm doing "Come Back To The Five And Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean" It's a show I've wanted to do for a while because I have never seen a production of it which I felt did justice to the script.

We just saw a production of that over in Hollywood. I had seen the movie, but never the play. I was pretty impressed with how well it worked. A little mellodramatic for my taste, but it is Texas
Morning Orion,Pip and SOMMS. I highly recommend the scones.

Boobs - don't think many people who weren't in on the discussion will 'get' your sig quote - but it'll make me laugh all day
I've never really been partial to scones. Dunkin Donuts has a great new Harvest Bagel that I am loving. It was very disappointing that they had none this morning.

Orion - I can't stand when you are in the mood for something and it isn't available. We have a bagel shop down the road that does great Pumpkin bagels during this time of year - but they go REALLY fast. I've been let down a couple of times, and I end up just standing there pouting at the counter. It's pathetic!
DG, I HATE it when pouting doesn't work...

Pip, my love, I wouldn't believe you if you said you had difficulty getting your way - no matter what you had to try
Boobs, redhot was amazing as usual (unbiased opinion, of course)... it was a small audience but Cookie was there, and we got to meet the lovely taboo17 as well... she is such a sweet woman!
DG, i can only assume that you're talking about the store in the Farmer's Market??? or the one on N. Beverly that replaced the one at Century City...

Actually, Joey, it's in a new complex called Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga - which is about 50 miles east of LA.
DG, that wouldn't be a crate and barrel, then...
LOL! You are just TOO sweet, DG! Sorry to disappoint, though, but I don't always get everything I want when I want it!! What would life be like without challenges??
jj..I wish I could've been there last night too. I could sit and listen to Redhot sing for hours. He truly has the voice of an angel.
Cucamonga always makes me giggle!
I'm reaching the age where pouting is no longer going to be cute and therefore will be ineffective. I'll have to start learning a new tactic.
