I'm in the process of 'restoring' as we speak. NY state just loves to draw it out, because the process is all about embarassment and intimidation. Ah well. It's over now.

I wonder if the penguins are endangered...

CK - the endangered penguins are ones found more around South America and Africa. The Adelies are thriving as a whole. This situation is limited to one of the larger breeding colonies.

I'm sure DGrant will be mortified!

That said, Cookie--have you ever seen the "Tea from China" segment from Blanchine's Nutcracker? It's terribly racist--red silk pajamas, pointy coolie hats, and three cute dancers jumping around with up-raised fingers--but it's adorable. I always feel terribly guilty enjoying it.
