This weekend I have no fun plans. Why, you got something in mind?
I've been running in and out all day - work has been pulling me in a lot of directions. Plus our internet connection has been acting up and the site was grumpy to me this morning. I guess I haven't been posting much at all, but that doesn't mean I'm not thinking of you
Nope. No plans. Tonight is laundry and packing and wrapping.
I am hoping there will be another pinot grigio phone call at some point Last Friday's was fun.
Okay, Addy, I'll give a full report.
Alas, I've got to get to a meeting soon.
..I'm so glad we've had this time together...just to have a laugh and sing a song...
Bye yall!

I am spending my weekend down at the playhouse...ah, the life. Now only if it was in the city.
You never can tell when that will happen again!
Perhaps "pizza night" should changed to "pinot nite"....
Bye, Jungle.
Have a great weekend.
Oh, that would be fun!
pizza nite sounds better than burrito night...
Friday Fun Fact: In the mid 1880s, until approximately 1910, American undertakers sold "Grave Alarm" Devices. These were elaborate rope and bell/pulley arrangements allowing those buried alive to summon help. The rope was placed into the hand of the (supposed) deceased, and it wound through a series of tubes to the bell outside the grave. Yikes.
sounds more like a freaky Friday fun fact...
I think it will be pizza night for me, too...
No time to cook.
Addy, I must ask what about that fact was fun? With my luck, I'd get the job of the person who had to listen for the bells to ring!
mmmmmmmmm. Pizza.
I just thought it was a random bit of info added to an industry newsletter that I wanted to share...

This Day in History:
1903: Bicycle repairmen Orville and Wilbur Wright successfully test their historic flying machine near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Orville was at the controls for the 12-second flight, which covered 120 feet. Although earlier devices had been proven to fly, the Wrights' contraption was the first self-propelled, heavier-than-air craft to manage the feat.
And finally...
Today's Not Necessarily TV Trivia Question: In the history of the Oscars, only three films have swept all five categories in Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Actor and Actress, and Best Writing. They are It Happened One Night (1934), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), and do you know the third?
Silence of the Lambs I think....
I don't know the answer. I'll have to wait until I get this newsletter on Monday to find out.
But I think you're right.
With my luck, I'd get buried alive...
Mine, too.
I sleep very soundly. With my luck I'd be taking a nap...
Hey all, how is everyone today?
it is Silence -- interesting fact is those are the only five it won -- hey, you might as well just take the majors!
Look, it's the birthday boy!
Many happy returns of the day, CC!
Thanks cookie. It's started slow but I'm sure it will pick up later tonight.
