I love the Met store, too.
I got lovely business card cases for all of the people who work for me. Even though they didn't invite me to their party...

I just heard another radio commercial for a tour of the musical version of "A Christmas Carol" coming to Shea's this weekend...starring Barry Williams of the Brady Bunch...and a list of other "stars" include Jackee Harris...
Who put this cast together?
And why...???

did the bespectacled hunk behave himself at the holiday party last night? :)
Addy got back from the crowds unscathed!

*waves frantically at everyone...then burns her hand on her Lean Pocket...philly cheesesteak...*
Addy...they didn't invite you to their party? If I understand Webster's correctly it isn't considered a "Party" unless Addy is there...

Hi Cookie and Jungle!
Well, beacon and DG, apparently they are having their party without me. But, I still bought them gifts.
Next time they won't leave me off the list...

The weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Well, it doesn't show signs of stopping
But we've got some corn for popping
And the lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I hate going out in the storm
But as long as you hold me tight
Oh, all the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying
But my dear we're still goodbye-ing
And as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Posted: 12/17/04 at 3:04pmIt's actually very pleasant in NYC today. Almost 50. Made walking around doing errands much more bearable.

Posted: 12/17/04 at 3:05pmThat's just wrong, Addy. As beacon said, how could a party be complete without you?

There's only ONE Christmas Carol you need to see Beacon1. It's right up the Thruway.

Posted: 12/17/04 at 3:06pmCookie -- the bespeckled one did not have an office party last night, so he was able to let his hair down with some Pinot Grigio and a snifter of Asbach (OK -- maybe two snifters --- no really, I stopped at three)

Trix are for kids!
Hi dgrant! How's sunny California??
All is well here. Work is still keeping me very busy - but am looking forward to some time off over the Holidays.
Hi Cookie!
Actually, the weather isn't too frightful. It's clear, but cool - 40s/ 50s during the day and 20s at night. We have a snow flurry alert (gasp!) for Sunday night. (Snow is VERY rare around these parts).

No, sadly. I only bartend there a couple of nights a week. But it's a lot of fun, and I meet a lot of lovely people.

Jungle - I've been asked not to talk about weather, as it seems like gloating - but since you asked
- it's about 75 degrees, clear skies, slight breeze - and it's calling me away right now!
Have a great day/evening/weekend everyone
