re:Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2)

Good Morning?

...where is everyone?

I'm enjoying a cup of coffee and am about to curl up with a favorite movie before I start my day. I need to Think Pink this morning Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2)" width="14" height="14" src=https://cloudimages.broadwayworld.com/board/wink.gif>

Morning Addy..I'm here...I'd love to join you for a cup of coffee. I'm thinking Pink today too...I just found out yesterday that an old friend of mine has to have a double mastectomy. I pray for her and her family for strength.

Morning all

Yes its (still) true, cancer is all around us. I have run into the most unexpected people at the cancer clinic (when there with my dad).

Reminds me must remember to wear yellow livestrong wrist band today!

re:Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2)

Thanks Addy. Now lets start this day off with a song.

Come Saturday morning
I'm goin' away with my friend
We'll Saturday-spend till the end of the day-ay
Just I and my friend
We'll travel for miles in our Saturday smiles
And then we'll move on
But we will remember long after Saturday's gone
(Come Saturday morning, come Saturday mo-o-rning)

Come Saturday morning
I'm goin' away with my friend
We'll Saturday-laugh more than half of the day (ay-ay-ay)
Just I and my friend (my friend)
Dressed up in our rings and our Saturday things
And then we'll move on
But we will remember long after Saturday's gone
(Come Saturday morning, come Saturday morning)

Come Saturday mo (Saturday) rning

Just I and my friend (my friend)
We'll travel for miles in our Saturday smiles
And then we'll move on
But we will remember long after Saturday's gone

(Come Saturday morning, come Saturday mo-o-rning)

Kansas, I have practically worn my Livestrong bracelet out. Fortunately I have back-up!

Boobs, I love that song. But, it's Thursday...

In the words of Holly Golightly: "Thursday! Oh no, it can't be! It's too gruesome!"

Kansas, it's true....you meet some amazing people in the world of cancer clinics. My dad is still fighting the good fight... now I'm just glad that I can be there for him, and not distracted by my own needs.

re:Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2)

Come this Saturday morning it will be 2005--which I hope will be a VERY good year for everyone here!

Including the actress who played Miss Pookie Adams and sang that song, for whom 2004 was an annus horibilis to match any Queen Elizabeth ever had. (Did that make any sense?)

Ohhhhh... I had too much champagne last night... if such a thing can be!

It is hard to find the motivation to work. I guess not being fired will have to be my motivation for the morning! I'm off this afternoon so I can get the car serviced. Doesn't that sound like fun?
