I dunno, does it involve me having my underware stuck in my mouth again?
I just have to force myself to go to the gym after work at night no matter how tired I am.

Carl, as I see it, that's one of the disadvantages of being a straight guy. You don't have the same incentive to go the club everyday and get naked with a bunch of guys that I do...
And, oh by the way, while I'm there I work out!

Someone posted on another site with a message to pass to me from someone in the orbit of someone I admire.
It was said jokingly like they were trying to be friendly/make nice conversation but I chose not to respond because it was a bit wierd/creepy. I'm trying to blow it off and consider the source...but it's wierd getting singled out of a crowd.
I feel like the innocent audience member who suddenly has a spotlight shown on them and the magician is trying to jolly them into coming onto stage and playing.
I'll stay in the safe dark, thank you, with my popcorn.
Thanks for the hugs. Real life is challenging enough today without someone being overly sweet/clever on the internet. I'm just too cynical to think the message didn't have an underlying agenda with it.
Now...back to my spreadsheet and to monitor Eddie's thread--RSR will be posting today. I so love his pictoral essays.
DG...stay save in all that bad weather. Same to all our west coast pals.

Our weather has actually cleared for the moment - we saw BLUE SKY yesterday for the first time in days. Unfortunately, not everyone in SoCal escaped unscathed - mudslides and the like. But for now, the sky is clear, and the roads are dry!
This internet thing is turning out to have more sharp edges than I would have imagined.

You guys are the best.
Fresh pastries for everyone--fresh fruit for those watching their weight...and I have a stack of Patridge Family and Osmond LPs ready to put on the stereo.

Ah, the Partidges. I lost a few early teen afternoons alone in my room with my record player and David Cassidy

For our CA friends...
Blue skies smiling on me
Nothing but blue skies do I see
Blue birds singing a song
Nothing but blue skies from now on.
I never saw the sun shining so bright
When you?re in love everything?s right
Watching all the days hurrying by
When you?re in love my how they fly
Those blue days all of them gone
And nothing but blue sky from now on

Posted: 1/12/05 at 10:40amHowdy cookie. Great sentiment for our water-logged left coasters. I changed "blue skies" to "Matt's chest" and my day is already brighter.

Now if the sun could find western NY, eh beacon?
I just had an old guy in here with a cell phone question and he says. "I can deal with the seasons here, at least we don't have tornados and mudslides. All we have to worry about is snow and Pataki"
That made my day a lot brighter.
