NYadgal - if you're SURE that it wouldn't be a problem for you if we couldn't make it, then go ahead. I can't say anything for sure since his highness is sleeping right now

Done.
And you know the Lyceum theater - it's a small theatre so all seats are excellent.
Just let me know by the week before - but HOW can you pass up Halloween in New York City with the FINAL performance on Broadway and a party at my place first?????????

Well, I have GOT to go get these steaks on the grill (watching the sun set over the mountain, thank you very much!) I'm about to go test the waters - but I can be VERY persuasive
I'll talk to you all later!

And it gives me an excuse to NOT dress up for Halloween. Except maybe a black dress and pearls, in honor of Charlotta!

oh, I missed the post about steaks....YUM! I'm starving. Dinner tonight consisted of a handful of crackers...
I was over at the studio doing auditions until 8pm, and didn't realize until I'd already gotten home and all comfy in my bathrobe that I have NOTHING in my cupboards...
So - enjoy those steaks...and I'll just sit here and drool...or maybe grab another handful of crackers... I'm such a bad 'adult' tonight!!

I just made stuffed Italian frying peppers. First time I tried doing this and they're pretty good. Next time I think I'll add crumbled up sausage to my stuffing. I love being creative in cooking. Things just pop in my head and I try them.

Double YUM!!
I love to cook, also - but with my crazy schedule don't get the chance to do it as much as I like. Now that summer is over I'm generally out with clients two or three nights a week. I always have rehearsal on Monday night - so - that doesn't leave much time to just be home...

NYadgal...you should pick one night you're home and do all your cooking for the week. This way all you have to do is pop it in the microwave. Home cooked meals make the best lunches too.

In the winter I love to spend Sunday cooking...but I just don't eat at home very often. I go out for lunch. I go out for dinner. It's ridiculous. (But I know all the good tables in all the good restaurants...the crazy life of an ad exec!)
I've decided that instead of travelling anywhere on my next vacation, I'm just going to stay HOME!

Speaking of being home - I'm going to call it a night. I want to get some chores done before I crawl into bed...
I'm thinking that no news from Mom means she's holding her little Lizzie! I can't wait to hear all about it.
Until tomorrow...

Have you ever eaten at "LUXIA" on 48th between 8th and 9th? or "44 X 10" on the corner of 44th and 10th? These are 2 of our favorite restaraunts in the City.

Do you stay in the city for dinner during the week - or come back in on weekends?
...and now it's way past by bedtime, so I'll check back with you in the morning!

It would be a very nice place for you to bring clients to. Especially if you're going to the theatre after dinner. I like places that most people who come into the City don't really know about. Michael used to live on 44th St. between 9th and 10th, so we used to try all the restaraunts in the neighborhood. These are our 2 favorites.
We also like Joe Allens, but that to me is a tourist restaraunt. Although we were at the bar one night and someone wanted to sit on a chair I was saving for a friend. So I told her"sorry I'm saving that chair". Michael went nuts and said NO she can have it, there's another one on this side of me. I couldn't figure out why he went crazy on me until I realized the woman asking was Jill Clayburgh.

ok...no bed yet...just one last post...
I love taking clients (and friends/family) to places that not everybody knows about. So - thanks for the new suggestion!
It's a great area to explore. A friend of mine lives on 47th off of 9th - and I love prowling the neighborhood with him.
Joe Allens is good - and touristy - but I still enjoy it. Nice to see Jill Clayburgh! Good celebrity spot!!

NYadgal..if I know I'm meeting people in the City after work I usually drive in. My last bus is at 9 p.m., if I know it will be an early dinner then I just take the bus in.
Talk to you in the morning Darling.

Now. Must. Go. To. Bed.
Would stay up and play all night if I could - but morning comes early - and I've got a late night planned tomorrow...(auditions until 7:30 then theatre...)
Have fun tonight. Don't stay up too late!
