Before I rush out to the event tonight - I have to tell you guys the funniest story! Well - it's not REALLY funny, but there's no other way to describe it.

I've mentioned that I'm in a wedding on October 10th - (bo peep, remember). We were having our dresses custom made at a bridal shop in the garment district. Well, my friend (the bride) went to pick them up today and...SURPRISE...place is padlocked with an eviction notice on the door! She just called me in a complete panic. We're actually laughing at this because we had a hunch about it. So - the great Bridesmaid Dress Search is on! Guess I have to rearrange some plans for the weekend to go deal with this.

Remind me NEVER to do this again. I am TOO old for such nonsense! (and I'm such an evil friend for laughing...)

Oh man adgal - that is too much! I can pull my sewing machine out and start work on something divine. Last year I had to make a mermaid dress for a friend who was in a drag pageant, so I'm good with sequins and tuille....
