I sing for myself. I sing when I want, whenever I want to, just for me. I sing for my own pleasure. Do you understand that?

Boobs, since you are staying in the city, perhaps you can find more than a sock puppet!
Drinks, dinner with friends -- sounds great -- I need a life...but I AM OFF the rest of the week and going to the warmth of the desert tomorrow -- nice long weekend of sun, golf and hiking...so I have a little bit of a life!

And very fitting...
Boobs - have a fun night. Why am I suddenly hearing "Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night" in my head??

Well, you think preppy, I think Idina ... I've been spending too much time on the main board.

I need to spend MORE time on the main board - this off-topic nonsense is going to be the ruin of me!

All this talk about laundry. God I hate doing laundry. I did just complete a task I enjoy, grocery shopping. It takes me a while to get motivated to do it but, once I'm at the supermarket, I turn it into a game and have fun. A little Frank Sinatra impersonation in the produce section does a lot to make the job enjoyable, especailly in the middle of the afternoon when the store is filled with seniors. The Cher impersonation in the meat aisle drew some strange looks though.

No one sings at my grocery store. I need to shop with Orion! We just got a Wegmans, but it is quite a drive - but that is a store at which I could see people singing to their ham hocks and zucchini!

Oh, I love Wegmans! They make the best sauces.
I pass one when I drive to my sisters - and always make a stop. Wish I had one closer...

the closest Wegman's to me is about 30 minutes -- it is nice though! I also like Kings (although it has gone down a notch in quality in the past few years)

You do need to shop with me. I get crazy in the supermarket...it kills the boredom when you start singing out loud to the supermarket music and watching people's reactions. I did have one old lady say to me "Honey, you should be on the tv, you sound just like Frank."

I'm terrible in a supermarket - I don't go enough, and I can never remember what I have. I have about 6 bottles of vinegar - more than I'll use in two lifetimes... And, I always seem to go when I'm starving... It's my worst weakness. I don't do good supermarket. I'll stick to laundry.

I guess it's not good to have six different mustards either?

Yech - I hate mustard - so any mustard is too much.
(I DO use it in cooking - as long as it just flavors the recipe, and doesn't actually TASTE like it. I despise mustard)
Want to know how I feel about mustard??
