Looks like it closes on Oct. 31st. I'm seeing "Brooklyn" on the 22nd and the final performance of "I Am My Own Wife" on the 31st. If they extend it one more week I can do the weekend of Nov. 6th though. What do you think the chances are of that???

Honey; Why don't you come for the last week and then stay a few days. "Wife" opens here that week withthe same guy as NY. You can see both.

Yee-Haw! We saw it in New York, and REALLY want to see it again. I thought he was taking it to Chicago first, though.

Oh Dame...I wish I had more time off from work except I'm done until January. My last week this year is the 1st week in Dec. and I'm going to Florida for a family vacation.

Well, my research is showing that "I Am My Own Wife" is going to be at the Geffen Playhouse next summer (mid June - mid July), but that's the only LA run I see listed.

OK, I'm REALLY having a great time with the internet today! I just confirmed our tix for Bernadette in March, AND I just got tix to Bette's Kiss My Brass show at the end of November!!!! I'm SUCH a happy gay man right now

DG...Bette's concert is so much fun !!! I sat in the 3rd row on the floor of Madison Square Garden. You're really going to enjoy it. You know Bernadette is my all time favorite, so I won't even comment on her.

Boobs - unfortunately, we're not that close - came to the ticket buying a little too late
But, they're right above the floor and pretty center stage, so we should have a great overview of the whole thing. And that's why god made binoculars!
I have listened to Bernie's Carnegie Hall show a LOT! I'm hoping that she'll do a couple numbers from Gypsy, since we didn't get to see it. As long as she does Broadway Baby, I'll be VERY happy
I've been listening to my old albums of hers with the Varga covers - I love those recordings.

I Love those albums too DG. I hate that they combined 2 of the albums for CD. They left out some good songs from the 2nd album..like "Weekend of a Secretary"..I believe that's the name of it. I'm sure she'll do "Broadway Baby"...I feel it's a signature song for her.

Dame - Bernadette's out in Palm Desert March 11-12, 2005 at the McCallum Theatre. I've had MANY people tell me that this show is great. I've seen her before, but you can never see her enough
Boobs - I didn't even know they had done that - Weekend of a Private Secretary is one of my favorites - I wouldn't like not having that. Besides, as we've talked about many times before, there's something wonderful about all those familiar scratches
