I am absolutely drained...
And now I have to put on my party face and go entertain clients tonight. What I really want to do is go home and cry...

Just remember that everything happens for a reason, and you have no way of knowing what ripple effect this may have on their lives. You may have just nudged them along a path that they had been too afraid to travel down.

Hang in there, Addy. I have been in your position many times...and it's tough for ALL parties involved. As you said, new doors and windows will open up for these folks... and they may lead to great possibilities!
