Morning Beacon...I think it's just the stress of leaving Grandma home alone during the day now being Michael starts his new job today. Yesterday while we were out she fed the dogs pretzels becuase she said they were hungry. I fear for my dogs.

Well...one consolation, pretzels are lowfat and not bad for dogs (my big ol' buddy Bear loves pretzels and gets them as a snack when he visits the office.) Of course ANY food in excess can be a problem and dogs usually don't show a lot of restraint.

Because of her age, can you get assistance of some sort? Someone to check on her during the day and be sure she is okay.

And, does she have some sort of alert she wears in case she has a health problem or falls?

No alert..she won't use it...we had ot for her once and she just got rid of it.

She is very stubborn. I'm trying to get asst. for her but the doctor never gets back to me and I need him to sign papers.

So, I went to check my horoscope a few minutes ago, as I do every day, and here's what I got:
