K - tomorrow is my nephew's birthday. He's going to be 11 on 11/11 Smokin!

And I'm spending the weekend celebrating with him...but have to figure out what to get him. Hmmm...

I saw a pilot episode for it, but I don't watch it.

I actually watch very little TV. Especially considering it's my business...

Okay - finished watching my tape of today's General Hospital so it's time for bed. It's like 90 degrees in here!! Lordy. Time to open the window wider.

All that shivering is working many muscle fibers which is keeping Addy awake...

Any ideas of what to get him, Addy? Toys? Video games?

I should invest in slippers to cover my cold feet. But I like walking around the place barefoot. Tis very counterintuitive...

That is very counterintuitive....kind of like K liking ice cold sheets to get warm in... You boys have some funny ideas of comfy!

I'll come up with something for him... probably something in the music and movies department... He loves listening to music. I'm sure I'm told you about Christopher - he's severly handicapped. He was born with hydrocephalus - among other disabilities - and is not able to do what other kids his age can do. He's in a wheelchair, and communicates via sign language (which I am struggling to master...). He is an absolute ANGEL, and has more personality that most adults I know! (SOMMS has actually met him - which is another long story...). Anyway, Christopher is one of the other reasons that I choose to celebrate life every minute of every day (with tonight's little crank-fest aside). He embraces HIS life, with all it's issues. He is my absolute inspiration! Smokin!

Cookie -- video games are always good (my nephews loved them when they were that age -- playstaion or what ever was big 10 years ago)....

Toys are tough and of course stay away from clothes!

Is there any special type of music? What cheery (but not sappy) things can we come up with? If there were only some way you could find a taped recording of DeafWest/Roundabout's revival of Big River....

oh my...

maybe cold sheets are a guy thing? like getting hungry in the middle of the night (or should I say early morning) and eating cereal?

This tired cookie needs to get under warm blankets and sleep. Goodnight, Addy and K!!!
