Addy girl, I hope to replicate your date this evening ... only mine will be in Philly's China Town eating Thai (Coconut Soup, Mee Pu salad, and Beef Phad Prik) followed by two Ketle Dirty's at the new Continental Midtown. This is date number five with the divine Mr. Austin. Fingers crossed!

Good Morning!

Just getting my day started.
I have a full day today. I'm going to be running around doing errands today. I'm scheduled to work this weekend so I'm trying to get everything done.

Last night I went out to an early dinner with my boyfriend to Van Dyke's Cafe a jazz club/restaurant here in Miami Beach, we then went to see "Alfie". Had a great night.

Right now I'm sitting here with my cup of java, catching up with the boards and listening to "my girl" Ashanti sing her new hit off her album "Concrete Rose" on GMA.

I was also a bit late myself Kansas! But I am so ready for the weekend.
OK folks call us crazy! We are heading toNYC for Thanksgiving. We'll be there Wedesday night and leaving on Friday. Shopping on Black Friday should be fun!

"Alfie" was okay. I have to go rent the original to see how it measures up. It's interesting how the guy goes out of his way to use all these women and then when he least expects it *gasp* winds up falling. . .in love.

i think jude law gave a good performance and susan sarandon can do no wrong in my book.

it did have me thinking alot about relationship "dynamics" and why people are motivated to do certain things...fear of commitment, selfishness, etc. etc.

it definitely provided us with a deep convo on the whole topic.

SOMMS - keep the faith!

Marquise - I felt the same way. The original was much more shocking with the content - because of when it was released. In this day and age the 'controversial' subjects aren't as hard to talk about and think about. I loved Michael Caine in the original...

I thought Jude Law did a good job...and agree with you about Susan Sarandon.

Good date movie...good for inspiring conversation.
