Marquise..we should of had Thankdgiving together...mine is going back to Chciago to celebrate with his family. Sounds odd to go celebrate Thanksgiving in Spain when it's an American holiday.

To Boobsy - - - Well he won't be celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, what I meant is because it is a holiday here in the U.S. and he has a couple of days off from work he's taking advantage of that and he's off to Spain to spend some time with his family.

Things to Do to Liven Up Thanksgiving Dinner
1. Load your plate up high, then take it to the kitchen, toss it all in the blender, and take your "shake" back to the table. Announce that it's the new Thanksgiving Weight Loss Shake.

2. When everyone goes around to say what they are Thankful for, say, "I'm thankful I didn't get caught" and refuse to say anything more.

3. Bring along old recorded football games, pop them in the VCR when Dad's not looking. Make sure it is set to the last two minutes of the game. When he comes into the room, turn off the VCR and turn on the regular TV.

4. Bring a date that only talks about the tragic and abusive conditions known to exist at turkey farms.

5. During mid-meal turn to mom and say, "See mom, I told you they wouldn't notice that the Turkey was past expiration date. You were worried for nothing."

We just got a big screen hi-def TV and everyone tells me that it is a shame that sports will not be shown on it, as apparently football looks good in high definition. Well, musicals look good too and my TV time isn't going to be wasted on football!

Boobs - I've been trying to get thanksgiving going (thank god my hubby is a master at brining a turkey) and then may need to make a quick trip back to the midwest to be with my Grandmother who may not be with us much longer and to top it all off my contractors showed up this morning to finish up work on the house, but I wasn't expecting them until Friday so now everything is crazy.

So, long story short, I can appreciate the craziness. Get that bird stuffed and pour a big glass of bubbly.
