Well, my car has a flat tire, and I have neither the time nor the money to get it fixed.

My first grad school app is due in 11 days, but I need to have it done by the 29th, because I have to fly to LA on the 29th (don't even get me started on how much I don't want to)

As "punishment" for calling in sick on Saturday night (long story there...), my boss scheduled me to be at work at 7am on Christmas.

And my computer is totally not working...at all.

aww, thank you.

luckily, i have the awesomest professor ever, who gave me the key to her office/the building to use over winter break (my computer's been crapping out a LOT lately)

and my apartment is only about 5 miles from school...so it's bikeable....not pleasant in any way, but doable.

May I angst on behalf of someone else? Is that against the rules? It just makes me so mad...there's this guy I know, and recently he's come out in a minor way at work. He works at a butchers, and of course the word spread like fire...he never even meant for most people to know. Anyway, so this utter bitch of a customer comes up and has a word with his boss, and says she 'doesn't feel comfortable with him handling her food'...so now his boss keeps him behind the scenes, cutting and stuff. Can you believe that?????He's so upset about the whole thing, poor guy. He's in an awful state.

That's terrible! Some people are so stupid and closed-minded. I had a debate (as in me screaming) with my sister's little friend last night until my dad told me to leave her alone. She started it! I was doing RENT stuff and she intersperses the comment: "Is that a man?" (angel) "Yes." "Why is he wearing a dress?" "Because he's a drag queen." "Ew. That's disgusting. If a man wants to dress like a girl, they should do it on Halloween or get a sex change."
