Posted: 1/23/05 at 8:19pmhopefully people are on here now. why do most college guys have the need to drink beer every weekend? Im not knocking anyone, but your paying to go to school and if you get bad grades you'll eventually fail out of school. and beer is in my opinion one of the worst tasting beverages out there, at least the ones ive tasted. why? I may be a guy in college but i dont spend my time obsessing about beer. Im here to learn not to get plastered each weekend. and if i get plastered it wont be on my money. save you money for something you can use more than once. Give me some wine and id be happy. I just that classy.

Posted: 1/23/05 at 8:27pmi'm glad someone is sane enough to have that opinion musical! there's this person in my grade who's really smart and he just keeps talking about how he wants to party in college and be able to get drunk every night. i don't understand it. you'd think most people, at least at more academic schools, would want to spend their time doing more intelligent things. i understand once in a while, but isn't it more fun to hang out w/ friends doing something else then to drink aweful tasting drinks and feel sick afterwards?

musicalmjk, I don't know either. I drink one drink once or twice a month, and that's enough to turn me off alcohol the rest of the time. I suppose I don't see the logic in spending so much money for the sole purpose of getting drunk. If you're dying to get out of control, put a joint. It's cheaper and just as effective.

Uh...I think so. Was it after 3am your time? Cuz then I'd be offline. I did read the AIM convo though, and then ran off to lock my windows and buy a gun.

Yeah, I bought the Scissors Sisters CD a few weeks ago and I LOVE it! (It's actually in my CD player now.) I don't think I'll get to see the show. It's on Jan 29 (28?) and they've been sold out for a long time, and eBay is selling the tix for like $100 even though they were originally $22!

The Scissor Sisters are this fabulous flamboyant New York underground-ish pop rock band. I adore them. They were on SNL on the Colin Farrell episode last month. I think the official site is www.scissorsisters.com. DL some of their songs. They're fantastic.
BTW, it's Day 3 now guys! Nia, how you holding up? (See, I care so much I actually addressed you as Nia!)
