"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears." CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre" "I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is." TOM STOPPARD

I assume you've heard the Original Cast Recording? I, frankly, don't think it does any of them ANY justice.

I've worn out the OCBR. Are they better live?

indeed....very much so. Wilson Jermaine Heredia...cannot be completely understood without being seen live.

Any particular reason?

How was Adam? My fangirl tendancies insist that I ask. And Daphne? She just embodies Mimi on the OBCR.

Daphne Rubin-Vega probably became my favorite b-way actress after seeing the show. I'd been a HUGE Sarah Brightman fan before her (i still love her, i don't care what anyone says)

Adam live...there's really nothing like it. He's a stunningly beautiful man both on and off stage.

My favorite things.

Glad to hear that. And I know Adam is pretty, what about his singing? Did his voice hold up? And his acting, or lack thereof?

as you may have heard...his acting is kinda lax. nothing to be seriously crowed about, his voice i thought was quite strong throughout.

do you know what's weird? In the answering machine part where the tabloid lady is calling, one of the phone numbers she says is my brother's phone number except for one number. lol

I had the best night of my entire life Saturday night. It's a long story so I won't bother you with details, let's just say I spent the whole night with someone very important to me. (no people, nothing happened! perverts!)
