Can I recommend that we begin responding to theaternut the way we did suestorm, either with blank messages or pretending they don't even exist? Tnut has plainly told us he is a troll, is doing this for his own pleasure.
Just stop responding to him, or accept that you are complicit in enabling a troll. That a troll is controlling you. A troll that isn't even amusing.
Knowing Phyllis I can say that you're assessment of him is literally 100% wrong. Literally. Like not one thing you said was true.
What it looks like is that you're projecting your own insecurities on the nearest avatar you could find.
Well said, Taz. And I agree with ghostlight: I think we're done here.

Maybe. I never thought of that. And I don't know PRS. So I don't have any assessment on him. I just enjoy him here.
By the way.. what have I said about him that is not true? Have I said anything as fact?

If we ever needed it, we need it now.

Just bumping this up as a reminder. Especially since I am worried that something might try to crap on Sean Martin's thread that does not need that BS. If it does, ignore it.
You may be right. I hadn't even thought of that, but it rarely passes up the opportunity.
What happened to the Fantine vs. Anita thread?

My guess is the poster thought we weren't taking the thead seriously so he decided to delete it. Pity, that thread had great potential.
We can't delete our threads. Mods do that. The only option is maybe changing the title to "delete".

The poster could have asked mods to delete the thread, though, Wynbish. That is a possibility. Also, considering the OP/creator of the Fantine vs. Anita thread is likely a troll, and made personal attacks to other posters within the thread, it may have been reported as abuse.
I really have no idea of why they would delete that thread. I don't think there was anything remarkably offensive on that thread, plus it was showing signs of progress.

I can't say I paid close attention to it because I rarely read that poster's threads (broadway guy), because his threads always seem to me deliberately provocative, asking a question without offering his own opinion. I do recall broadway guy making the offensive comment that RENT caused teenagers to want to get AIDS, a comment that he first tried to defend and then finally apologized for.
In one of his still-existing threads about Patti LuPone (in which his contributions were mostly about himself and his training in clown college), he says "Oh yeah im a troll cause i asked a question that is thought provoking.Jesus.grow up you bitchy queen.". That is often the kind of post he makes. He provokes, then attacks.
The moderation of this board is a mystery for me.

This is a timely reminder to heed Marianne's advice.

You can recommend it, but theatrenut is NOT a troll and has been here longer than most of you.
Just because you don't like some of what they post, doesn't make them a troll.
Thank you my dear. But don't worry about me. I am having a great time.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!
I can't. I'm in tech.
If you want someone to go away, why bump their threads again and again and again EVERY SINGLE TIME they start one? Especially if you know the contents are just bad "lyrics" and no discussion or topic? It's like scratching a dog's belly and feeding him treats while complaining that the dog won't go away.

Shrug. Cause it just never works. There's always going to be at least one person who responds. And wait till suestorm comes back - she'll get hundreds of responses.
