Holy crap -It's the Feast of the Holy Cross! We're all out of class today (but displaying a lot of class; all dressed in wild costumes of purple and white. Picnic lunch, field games, etc. This is where teaching gets fun and we can be kids again.

oh, my job just got even better:

We're having an alumnae reunion in a few weeks and several bakeries have just dropped off sample desserts, hoping to get the bid for the job! There are @ a dozen desserts of all ypes waiting for me to sample in the kitchen.

My hair is purple, I have glitter paint on my face, I'm wearing Boob's boa AND I'VE GOT FREE FOOD IN THE KITCHEN. Life does NOT get any better than this, folks.
