i just love that art direction in those Sid & Marty Krofft productions!!!!
its always so crazy & wild but at the same time its so unforced, as if it just sprang up!

It's sort of a spontaneous, trippy Nirvana!
*sigh*
And Mama Cass fit right in with them.
I remember hearing that she was their neighbor (Sid & Marty), and they just casually asked her one day if she'd like to be in the Pufnstuf movie, and she said, "Sure!"
Again... spontaneous, trippy Nirvana!

Posted: 1/27/07 at 5:40pmCass had one of the most beautiful voices ever to grace the airwaves. Love her with The Mamas and the Papas and love her solo. Such a tragedy that she died so young (and left a young daughter behind), but man, what a voice.
