Loved Cass ... what a great voice. Also still playing her sister's album (from 1979) -- Leah Kunkel -- another great voice!

"One Way Ticket" is my favorite of Cass single, followed by "Make Your Own Kind of Music/"

I love "Make Your Own Kind Of Music"...and her "I Call Your Name" is pure pefection. Another song I really love from her solo years is "It's Getting Better".

"It's Getting Better" was used as the opening them for Beautiful Thing. All of her music in that movie was used perfectly in that movie.

I'm a HUGE Cass fan!! Kringas, I echo your choices and comments as well.

But I have to say that her wacky turn as Witch Hazel in the movie "Pufnstuf" is my all-time favorite. And I LOVE her song "Different."

Different is hard,
Different is lonely,
Different is trouble for you only,
Different is heartache,
Different is pain,
But I'd rather be different that be the same.

Such a groovy arrangement of it too. I remember seeing her do that in a movie theatre when I was about eight years old. I've been hooked ever since.

I always thought "Different" would make a great gay anthem. Bring on the dance remixes!
