Cell Phone Question
Cell Phone Question#1
Posted: 8/26/09 at 2:26pmI don't know if anyone has these phones...but, I am debating whether to get the Lg Env3 or the Lg Env Touch for my new phone. My plan is ending soon.

I have the Env3 for 2 months now and so far it's the best phone I ever had. I always hated text messages, but with the full key board I no longer mind it. I give it 2 thumbs up.

My boyfriend has the EnV Touch. It is a cool phone, but the touch screen is useless, especially when you can just open up the phone and do the same thing inside the phone; however the display size on the outside is nice.
The EnV3 is the same thing, except on the outside it has numbers you can easily dial. That might come more in handy, but you don't have the nice large display.
Essentially, they are very similar phones. The EnV Touch might be slightly better because it is newer than the EnV3, no?

Posted: 8/27/09 at 12:03amMy sister has the Lg Dare and doesn't like it for some reason. I have the original Env, and I am too used to the keyboard to have just a touch phone.

I got an Env 3 a few weeks ago as a replacement for my eternally broken Samsung Sway. This phone is by far the best one I've ever had. Go with the Env 3.
This website gives you a side by side comparison of cell phone specifications. Here's the Env3 and Dare.

I had the enV Touch (I am assuming it is the same as the Voyager, since they look the exact same) and I liked it well enough to keep it for two years.
The touch screen is not useless by any means, and I often found myself texting from the touch screen because I was too lazy to open the phone, or was holding an umbrella and could only use one hand. Plus it is a quick way to view texts.
But after two years, i'm opting for the Blackberry upgrade.
