GLEE ratings

well the "best written and directed and acted Glee in the last 2 years" was watched by the fewest viewers in the last 2 years, so there's no need to defend the "quality" of the show in a thread about the show's ratings, the numbers speak for themselves. Plenty of great shows, shows miles better than Glee, have suffered low ratings from the start and gotten canceled quickly. Glee has had the luxury of not only widespread pop culture exposure, but also a VERY large Super Bowl lead-in which gave...

Last night's episode, arguably the most-hyped in terms of the fandom, pulled a 3.1/8 with 6.91 million viewers, and got crushed by NCIS, which got a 4.1/11 with 20.38 million viewers. I really don't think the World Series can be blamed anymore, since this is the second week back from the hiatus. I'd say the days of Glee being a cultural phenomenon are pretty close to, if not already, over.

"not so fast here...GLEE was ranked the 14th highest program in ratings with 18-49 year old viewers this past week: 14 - Glee FOX 3.7 - 4,710" For the sake of comparison, this time last year it was 2 - Glee FOX 5.9 - 7,739

Lots of talk about the 18-49 demo, but nobody has provided numbers. This season Glee has posted: Episode 1: 4.0/11 - 9.21M Episode 2: 3.7/10 - 8.60M in the 18-49, which is about where it was at the end of last season. At the beginning of last season, Glee was posting Episode 1: 5.6/16 - 12.45M Episode 2: 5.9/17 - 13.508M and then tumbled for the Grilled Cheesus episode, and settled down in the 4s. Keep in mind the show saw a typical bump because of the Super Bowl, but if you would like a laug...

I Now Hate GLEE

While we are on the subject of how awful this show is, can BWW stop shoving it down our throats? Seriously though, GLEE-caps, GLEE-peats, etc.

Lee HaeRi (the girl in those pictures) is stunning, one of the best voices in KPop. Big voice, but I don't know anything about this show so I hope her vocal talent is going to be put to use. I really hope they record this in one way or another... I know Cassies will find some way to demand it. There will be plenty of curtain call fancams, that's for sure. For anyone that doesn't follow KPop, Xiah Junsu would, I guess, be the equivalent of someone like Julia Roberts in a play, but multiply tha...
