Well, maybe more asking if anyone might have an idea of what happened to mine. I have looked all over the place for information, but have not found anything. It's an LG Octane.
I didn't know there was anything wrong with it until late this past afternoon. I noticed it had turned off, and went to turn it back on to find it needed charging. I already charged it the night before. Then things started to go downhill from there.
First, it couldn't read the external memory card I have for it, saying there was something wrong with it. But, the memory card opens and works fine on my computer. Then it said the camera can't work because the phone memory is full. But, I checked and it isn't. All my photos are gone, except for what came with the phone. Fortunately, most are on the memory card.
And now I'm being told I have no service. Not like going through a subway tunnel or anything. It actually is gone. I paid my bill and have not heard anyone in my area bitching that service is down, so I think that's just my phone. The calendar is also telling me it is January 6, 1980, and the time is running 3 hours ahead.
I'm going to assume the internal memory card is damaged, if that is possible. I don't even know what would have caused it. It sat around all day and doesn't get used too often. I just find it really odd.

One thing that comes to mind is that if you plugged it in directly to the wall when you charged it, and if you got a power surge, it could've damaged it.
If you particularly like this phone, it might be worth taking it back to where you purchased it and see what they can do.
