Census Forms

I just took a look at the form I have to fill out. Anyone else feel they are asking for a lot of personal info? I don't mind telling them how many bedrooms there are in my house or what my bachelor's degree is in, but when they start asking about income, I feel uncomfortable. It's bad enough that the IRS knows! Estimated time to complete the form: 38 minutes. Only if you have a lot of information at your fingertips - like how much you paid for electricity last year and what your homeowners' insurance costs. Yikes!

Where can I view the form?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

10 questions in 10 minutes. It's among the shortest ones since 1790.

I am more than willing to provide whatever reasonable information is necessary to ensure that my community gets its fair share.

Precisely. I'm more than willing to give the government any information they want to know about me. I'll tell them I'm a lower-middle-class gay male caucasian with blue eyes and brown hair, 5'7", 170lbs, with a B.A. in Theatre living in N.C. who cannot wait to watch SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE? on Tuesdays and GLEE on Wednesdays.
