I had to laugh - apparently, after almost 30 years, he's changing his mind about his black hole theories. Now, all the other geniuses who have based their theories on his are 'in a muddle.'

Science, though, is knowledge built upon itself - kind of like art, I think. Very little 'original' art doesn't owe SOME sort of debt to what has gone before it.

*nods* Again, true. But I'm the kind of person who can't 5 minutes through a movie without becoming horribly bored. I need new stuff to interest me. But basically, I'm pretty happy with the progress made in science. When I control the world, their deaths shall be quick and painless.
