Anyone else used to watch this show? I was obsessed with it in 5th grade. I actually thought I was a witch, and I tried to cast spells.

I've been home sick for the past week. I actually watched some reruns of the show I hadn't seen in 2+ years, and it brought back a lot of memories.

Sp what did/do you think of this show? It's ending for good with the season finale.

I love this show, Prue or no Prue.

I'm curious to see how it's ending.

According to sources, the producer had to cut back on the cast for budgeting reasons. So in the finale, he wants to bring back Leo, Chris, Wyatt, and the police detective. I will miss the show but it got a little tiresome at the end. I liked it when the grandmother was on and other family members. You kind of run out of stories. I did not miss Prue, aka Shannon Doherty.

I knew about the budget cuts , but I kind of suspected they'd bring back Prue when people suspected Leo making a return or vice versa. Or both. Regardless of whether people like Shannen Doherty or not, they started the show with her and they should end it with her.

Finally, a Charmed thread!! I am completely addicted to Charmed. I know what a freak... :P It's my second favorite show (Smallville being the first). I have seen every episode except ONE in Season 5 (can't wait until dvd set comes out on June 6).
I am really upset about these budget cuts. Leo and Piper's relationship made the show for me. :) But, hopefully they'll be able to find some money and bring Brian back for the series finale. Or maybe since Brian is so nice he'll do it for free. :) Keep your hopes up! And guys, I don't think Shannen wants to come back at all. ~Kerry

Shannon fought with Alyssa Milano. Shannon will not come back. She is hard to get along with.

I used to like this show a lot. I don't really like the new episodes.

ok, so the finale was alright - not spectacular, but why wasn't Prue around?

Finola Hughes and Gramms, both of whose characters died were taken from their pasts into the present to defeat Billie and Christy, but where was Shannen?

Finola even asked, "Where's Prue?" and I think Holly made a face, said well and then it went to commercial or the scene changed completely.

That left me a little ticked.

I really didn't watch at all this season. What happened on the finale?

EDIT: Shannen probably just didn't want to do it.

The mother was already dead when Pru was killed off, so she did not want to tell her. Shannon never lasts in shows as with this one. They did not intend to bring Prue back. It was a nice ending for all the witches. I could not stand Billie and thought she should have not been in the story at all.

I loved the first 3 seasons. I thought the storys with Prue where a little more dramatic. Later it got a little silly and wining. Piper made an impression, as if she was phoning in. It was just boring and more of a fashion show.

Yes, I do miss Prue!!

I second that!
The show started out really good and went downhill after Prue's death. It seemed like they only tried to put the girls in remarkable costumes for every episode (super heroes, mermaids, fairy-tale figures etc.)...

And the show should have been nominated for the "Show With The Worst Wigs"-Award!

I loved this show, then I began to lose intrest when things were repeated several times.

What did happen on the series finale? I had to work when it was on and never saw it.
