I also love Wo Hop. Both are on Mott street.
Both are dirt cheap. The atmoshere is not great there.
Very small. They don't speak much english.
But the dumplings ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Joe's is nicer atmoshere.
But the lines are horrid.

dai baos are a mixture of pork, chicken, sausage, and egg, in a steamed bun. But not a steamed juicy bun, because that's what Joe's Shanghai specializes in.
Both Wo Hop and Hop Kee are the classic "greasy spoons."
Anyways, hope you ate well, Matt and that the mood has improved....

cookie, is it those steamed, really dense and moist white buns?
bwaybaby - Is it Big's favorite chinese restaurant that he took Carrie to, where people take their dates when they don't wanna be seen?

I HATE THIS FEELING!
