Posted: 6/4/05 at 2:37pmWell, I've never been to the Cheesecake Factory in NJ, but in general CF is a little pricey. Not HORRIBLE though, and you can find things on the menu that are cheaper..but most entrees average around $15-$20. The portions are HUGE, though, and VERY tasty. Yummm I could go for their Chicken Marsala right now.

Posted: 6/4/05 at 3:23pmIt's a mid-range restaurant. Maybe a bit more expensive than other chains, but the food is better, too. And you can always find things that aren't too expensive- a lot of the appetizers are so huge they can pass for main courses. Are you going to the one in Hackensack?

Posted: 6/4/05 at 3:29pmI LOVE Cheesecake Factory!!! Probably because I don't have one near me, so I only get it on vacation. aliceripleysnumber1 is right about the pricing and portions. As you've probably deduced from the website, the menu is just this side of a novel. I've not come close to trying everything, but I can say this (I'm trying to remember the exact names, but you'll figure them out): Favorite appetizers I've tried are the Firecracker Salmon Rolls, and the Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes. Favorite entrees I've tried are the Stuffed Chicken Tortillas (basically chicken enchiladas, with the aforementioned corn cakes and black beans, very yummy), and the Crusted Chicken Romano (basically their version of Chicken Parmagiana). Favorite cheesecakes: The White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle is a Factory specialty, and very good, and if you are in need of a MAJOR chocolate high, nothing beats the Godiva cheesecake! Have fun and enjoy!

Posted: 6/5/05 at 1:13am*drools* I love me some cheesecake Factory. I have one near me down in Florida at Sawgrass Mills---yumm. The garlic tomato pasta thing is orgasmic. I could go for some now at this very hour; alas, I am not in Florida at the moment. Actually just got home from 2 Broadway shows in which I shall post about tomorrow.

Posted: 6/5/05 at 7:50amThe Cheesecake Factory in Edison is my least favorite CCF in the area. The waiters are inept and the food isn't up to par. The best is the one in Westbury, L.I. The CCF in Hackensack isn't too bad, but I have had issues with food not being served hot enough. My favorite dessert is the strawberry shortcake.

I love the Cheesecake Factory.
It's a good deal-- they give you big portions for not that much money.
Dulce de Leche cheesecake is my personal favorite.
