I actually really liked her It Ain't Necessarily So on that otherwise not great Gershwin pop album.
WOman's World was produced by Paul Oakenfold, I just learned, so no wonder it sounds dated (he did Madonna's Celebration, as well, which sounded about five years old club wise--and some great 90s club songs like Grace's Not Over Yet).
As for Believe--I actually thought Living Proof, while very much Believe part 2, was a big improvement. The songwriting was much stronger--even Metro who became stars writing/producing half of Believe admitted it was a rush job and their tracks on Living Proof seemed much more polished (Music's No Good Without You, and the brilliant Love is a Lonely Place Without You). But nothing from it really caught on--unless you count gay bars playing Song for the Lonely.
