I've seen Jena Malone make some really stupid acting mistakes that anyone could catch.

I thought the girl who played Bonnie Butler in Gone With The Wind was pretty bad. On the other hand, Shirley Temple and Jane Whiters were child geniuses.

Amen to that Jon! That kid's got chops, period. Forget about good "for a child actor", she's a better actor than half the people in movies right now. It's good she's usually in films opposite great actors like Sean Penn. Imagine her making someone like Keanu look bad if they did a movie together.

Dakota has a sister named Elle?
That's fun, since Dakota was in Sweet Home Alabama playing young Reese Witherspoon, who was in Legally Blonde playing a character named Elle.
Everyone else here thought of that immeadiately, too, right?

omg, elle fanning is even cuter than her sister! i know that's horrible... but she's like 6 and soooo cute!!!! and really pretty! i saw some pics of her in this movie, something Door... and she's so adorable!

Well the kids in Signs acted circles around their co-stars in my opinion...and I actually enjoyed Jena Malone...maybe just cuz she was in Donnie Darko and I love that movie...

The little boy in "Signs" was yet another of those Culkin kids - they're all talented. The little girl is the sister of Spencer Breslin, who was in "Cat In The Ha"t with Dakota Fanning and Disney's "The Kid" with Bruce Willis. Both Breslin siblings were recently in "Raising Helen" with Kate Hudson.
