Posted: 6/5/06 at 12:51amChildren of Eden is absolutely amazing. words cannot describe how much I enjoy this show, go out and purchase the soundtrack and you will get an excellent understanding of the show, I think that would be the best way to hear and understand the show. The Entire show is great, but, you could also just purchase the Highlights Cd.

I like singing Stranger to the Rain for auditions.

We had a very simple set with a bunch of rocks for the first act, arranged in a semi circle type thing. Our tree's trunk made out of cloth so when Adam and Eve are sent out of Eden, we just dropped it and it would collapse while we brought the wood leaves and stuff up. For the second act, we just turned the rocks around. We made the front of the ark on the back of the rocks.
With the lighting, we also turned a plain white backdrop different colors for different parts of the show. For example, in the garden it was green, and in the wasteland it was red.
This show doesn't really need an elaborate set.

You could probably also be a part of the Snake if you dance. That's what I was when I did the show, even though I'm technically a "mover", not a dancer.
