On my iPod...I have tons of showtunes, but lately I've been getting into the more "popular" music that is on the radio. I like Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado, Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, and Rompe by Daddy Yankee. I've been on this weird rap/hip hop kick too. Odd...but whatever. Then I've got Imogen Heap, The Ditty Bops (heard about them from Lauren Molina! YES!) a bunch of 80s and 90s music, Corinne Bailey Rae, and the OLD Green Day + Panic! At The Disco. Then of course, Simon and Garfunkel.
re: Color Purple Rush Line?
I went back in February and got on the line on a Wednesday at 10AM and for 8PM shows the tix go on sale at 12PM. I was fine, second row center. :-] For 2PM shows, I'd suggest getting there a bit earlier because tickets for that go on sale at 10AM. Weekends usually bring long lines. Good luck!

My parents once left a show during intermission at a dinner theatre. The show was a huge pile of garbage sitting on the stage with the house lights on.
