I bet this is a win-win for the church.

Until he commits suicide and then they soundly reject him and hold him as an example of where homosexuality leads. Which sadly, sounds like a likely outcome if this kid doesn't get some therapy soon.

"So did God make me straight? Nope. He made me ALIVE. I still am attracted to men, but all of the sudden, things became so much bigger than my sexual preferences. I realized that I was actually made by God, hand-made by God, and He wanted me to pursue Him. And then after studying the Bible for a few months, I realized that the only reason I wanted to pursue Him was because He had already hand picked and pursued me before time even began! He pursued me to so great a degree that He became a man and bore the wrath and penalty that I deserved for my sin. God hung on a Cross, for me. He pursued me."

Man oh man -- this is one of the saddest, completely screwed up pieces of writing I've ever come across. The bizarro combination of Utter Christian Self-Importance (God pursued ME!!) with Utter Gay Self-Loathing (equating homosexuality with rape murder and evil in general) is really screwing with this poor guy's head. How does he get through the day?

I wish him well, I guess, but I don't have a lot of hope for his happiness.
