I agree with you 110% 'Glory. I'm so not into the whole holiday spirit, and it gets worse and worse every year (maybe that's because they keep starting the season earlier every year?!?!). It should be an official rule that you can't do anything holiday related until after Thanksgiving (even that's a bit much...do we really need an entire month of holiday music, and Christmas trees in department stores, and those horrid sweaters with the holiday crap on them?!?! I think not!) Our family has whittled away at our Christmas festivities a little bit each year since my grandmother passed away five years ago. For a couple years we stopped getting a Christmas tree, but like three days before Christmas, the house just seemed a little too drab, so we strung lights on all of the lamps in the living room (the one that got the red, yellow, and green chile peppers kicked some serious ass!) But now, we don't even really do that. The only thing I'm looking forward to is all of the post-Christmas sales!
