So there is a station here in LA called KOST 103.5! And they play ONLY Christmas music all the time! ALREADY! WOW, where has the time gone? I love Christmas music and all but really, where did the year go?

Pfft. It's been that way for a while. I despise it. They just remind you about Christmas earlier and earlier every year to extend the shopping season. It stopped being about Jesus' birthday, or the winter solstice, or whatever, a long time ago.

I also despise how Chanukah has been blown up out of proportion with its significance just because American Jews have a Christmas inferiority complex. Ugh. Updated On: 11/19/04 at 09:29 PM

It's on my LIT(E) FM right now. I hope they play Christmas music every night between now and Christmas Day. Nothing better than turning the volume way down low but keeping the Christmas music on for sleeping.

I like the Christmas music, but I really hate when its used to sell things. It makes it less special, and like Christmas is being used. I used to think that shops played music just cos they loved the season, but now I know its just marketinh.

I admit it! Last Saturday we got our first snowfall, and my friends and I spent the morning in my dorm room making paper snowflakes and listening to Christmas music... even though I know it's WAY too early for the carols. I just love the holidays!

This is semi-unrelated but yesterday on the view star jones was like "IT AINT CHRISTMAS WITHOUT CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And the audience started clapping, but I was hysterically laughing.

Don't make me abuse the big font, folks.

STOP THE CHRISTMAS MUSIC MADNESS. The goddamn shops starting playing Christmas music after Canadian Thanksgiving (Oct 11) and I'm thinking, "Good god, I've still got Halloween and Remembrance Day to get through!!"

Bah, humbug.

I've had WLIT.FM on since I got home last night. Woke up at 3am and there it was. Turned the volume louder at 6pm. Can't turn it off.

Now that the city is sparkling with lights for the holiday I've got my large collection of CDs out...and listen whenever I'm home!

Instrumental. Vocal. Sacred. Secular. It's all wonderful! I plan to start working on my Christmas cards this weekend, and will be in full Holiday mode. Complete with hot chocolate and a peppermint stirrer re: Christmas Music ALREADY!

I think Christmas music should be held off at least until afer Thanksgiving. Otherwise that's getting a little ahead of yourself and the whole christmas spirit sort of overshadows Thanksgiving...

Or maybe I just feel that way because I'm Jewish...

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason
